About the EzyBill (email delivery) facility

This information is for persons who register to receive the District Council of Mount Remarkable rates notice via Email (EzyBill).

The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the facility to receive the above mentioned rates notice including the use of information provided by the facility.

Terms and Conditions

By accessing the facility you agree to the following:

1. District Council of Mount Remarkable has an arrangement with EzyBill to electronically deliver rates notice via this facility.
2. The information available from this facility (which includes downloadable material) is subject to copyright and is protected by laws of Australia and other countries through international treaties.
3. Any links to third party websites or software on this site are provided solely as a convenience to you and such links should not be taken to imply any type of association, sponsorship, endorsement, monitoring, approval of, or responsibility for, the linked site or its content. These sites may be located in jurisdictions outside Australia and be subject to license or other types of agreements, policy and legislation relating to those sites. Should you decide to access any of the third party sites, you do so entirely at your own risk and District Council of Mount Remarkable shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, expenses, injuries or damage arising from that access.
4. If you choose to use the facility you must first register with, and provide your details to, EzyBill and agree to the EzyBill Terms and Conditions of use.
5. Upon your request to receive the nominated rates notice via the facility you acknowledge and agree:
   1. You are the property owner or liable for responding to and making payment of the rates notice and you will share this electronic rates notice with other persons so named as required;
   2. While you are registered with EzyBill for electronic service of rates notices, it remains your responsibility to advise District Council of Mount Remarkable of any changes to your postal mailing address;
   3. If your email address changes and do not update your EzyBill details, you will be liable for any fines, interest or other costs accrued on any rate account/s affected.
   4. To receive the rates notice electronically and recognise that neither a paper copy nor other electronic rates notice will continue to be issued, except if the email sent is undeliverable;
   5. You will not be charged a fee by District Council of Mount Remarkable for accessing a copy of your rates notice in EzyBill;
   6. It may take up to one rates notice cycle for your EzyBill registration to take effect;
   7. By using this facility the rates notice will be deemed to have been delivered, presented, received and viewed by you once it has been received by EzyBill and that you will not otherwise receive these rate notices;
   8. If you sell your property you will need to unsubscribe your EzyBill registration for that property. District Council of Mount Remarkable will cancel your registration for the property when advised of a change of ownership on the title to the property;
   9. If you purchase a new property you will need to register your new property with EzyBill;
   10. District Council of Mount Remarkable is not responsible for any delivery delays or failures by the facility;
   11. District Council of Mount Remarkable has the right to cease the arrangement to deliver rates notice via EzyBill at which time the rates notice will be sent as paper copies by post;
   12. You may unsubscribe for this facility at any time but you may continue to receive rate notices via EzyBill for up to 30 days while your request is being processed;
   13. Not all communications from District Council of Mount Remarkable will utilise EzyBill, you will still receive paper communications by post for other official communications;
   14. These conditions and terms of use may be modified at any time by District Council of Mount Remarkable and you agree to continue to be bound by the terms of use as modified. District Council of Mount Remarkable will give you notice of these changes by publishing new terms and conditions of use available through EzyBill. District Council of Mount Remarkable will not separately notify you of these changes.
